CREW LABOR

The Crew Labor Program offers mobile work crews which provide grounds maintenance for commercial businesses, residential lawn services, litter abatement for county and municipal roads and commercial business parking lots and janitorial services for local businesses. The majority of the work is in Burlington County but the program also has contracts in Philadelphia and its near suburbs. The progam is funded by the Division of Developmental Disabilities; however, the crew payroll is self-sufficient and funded by income generated by contracted work.

The O.T.C.’s Crew Labor Program is comprised of mobile work crews, typically 4 or 5 trainees to one supervisor. The crew labor workforce works as teams and always work under direct supervision. It is through the work opportunities that individuals are able to strengthen their work skill and habits and interpersonal skills.

Transportation is provided to and from their residents and worksites.
